Health and Safety Advisor
Salary: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Birmingham (site-based)
Duration: 3-6 Months (potential for extension)
Hours: 07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Friday

Are you experienced in construction health and safety, with the ability to hit the ground running on challenging sites?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering proactive safety leadership across multiple locations?

We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to support a major infrastructure project in Birmingham. This role involves working closely with the site teams to ensure safety standards are maintained and safety procedures are followed effectively.

The successful candidate will:

Act as a proactive safety presence across multiple sites, supporting project activities.
Conduct on-site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, promoting a safety-first culture.
Support incident investigations and assist with implementing corrective actions.
Engage with site teams to deliver safety briefings and monitor compliance.
Assist with permit to work and other safety documentation as required.The ideal candidate will have:

Construction site experience, preferably within piling or similar sectors.
Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety qualifications.
Proven ability to work independently and proactively in a site-based environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence safety behaviours.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure project, with exposure to complex construction environments.
