How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * An opportunity to play a key role in growing a complex care service
RJS Resourcing is recruiting a Business Development Manager for a growing complex care provider. This is an opportunity for someone who understands healthcare commissioning and can build the relationships that lead to new, sustainable care packages.
You’ll focus on developing opportunities across London, working with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Continuing Healthcare (CHC) teams, case managers, NHS services and Local Authorities. You’ll be involved from the first conversation with a potential referral partner through to contract award, then work alongside clinical and operational colleagues as new services are set up.
We’re looking for someone who can speak confidently about complex care, understand what commissioners need, and recognise which opportunities the organisation can deliver well.
    What you’ll be doing
    * Develop and maintain relationships with ICBs, CHC teams, commissioners, case managers, NHS professionals and Local Authority contacts
    * Identify new complex care referrals, packages and service opportunities across London
    * Understand referral partners’ requirements and present the organisation’s services clearly and credibly
    * Manage opportunities from initial enquiry and relationship building through to agreement and contract award
    * Keep an active pipeline, follow up consistently and report on progress against growth targets
    * Attend commissioner meetings, provider forums, networking events and relevant conferences
    * Contribute to tenders, framework applications and bid responses
    * Work with clinical and operational teams to assess opportunities and support the mobilisation of new packages
    * Help shape a practical, sustainable growth plan for the region
    What we’re looking for
    * Proven business development experience within healthcare, with a track record of securing new business
    * Experience building and maintaining relationships with ICBs
    * A strong understanding of CHC, complex care services and healthcare commissioning
    * Experience working with commissioners, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities or case management companies
    * The ability to identify viable opportunities and manage them through a sometimes lengthy decision-making process
    * Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
    * A commercial approach, alongside an understanding of the clinical and operational requirements involved in delivering care
    * A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the South of England
If you have an established network in healthcare commissioning and enjoy building partnerships that result in well-run care services, we’d be pleased to hear from you.
To apply, please submit your CV. Due to the volume of applications expected, we’ll contact candidates whose experience matches the specialist requirements of the role.
