We are partnering with a leading, highly reputable local authority based in Brentwood in the waste and recycling sector to find an energetic HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver/Loader to join their busy team in Brentwood. This is a fantastic, fast-paced temporary ongoing contract with an immediate start available!

The Role
You won't just be sitting behind the wheel; you'll be the heartbeat of the local community, working closely with a great crew to keep the area clean.
* Drive Safely: Operate modern HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles efficiently across scheduled routes.
* Team Effort: Assist with loading refuse and recycling into the vehicle alongside your crew.
* Community Focus: Ensure domestic bins and recycling receptacles are handled safely and returned correctly.
* Keep on Track: Complete collection rounds in a professional, timely manner.
* Safety First: Follow standard health and safety procedures and report any vehicle or route issues to your supervisor.
What you need to bring
* Licences: A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, current CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card.
* Experience: Previous experience in refuse, waste collection, or commercial HGV driving is highly desirable.
* Fitness: Physically fit, full of energy, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Attitude: Reliable, punctual, and a fantastic team player who loves working in a fast-paced crew environment.
