This is a fantastic opportunity to join an independent Town Planning Consultancy who provide multidisciplined services to the residential, regeneration, and commercial sectors. They are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and proactive Graduate Town Planner to join their growing team in Rugeley.

Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications across a range of development sectors
Supporting the preparation of Planning Statements, planning appraisals, reports and other planning documentation
Undertaking research into planning policy, legislation, guidance and local planning matters
Reviewing Local Plans, emerging policy documents and planning committee reports
Assisting with site appraisals and identifying key planning opportunities, constraints and risks
Supporting strategic land promotion through the Local Plan process
Monitoring planning applications, appeals, local plan examinations and relevant policy changes
Assisting with pre-application submissions and engagement with Local Planning AuthoritiesRequirements for the role of Graduate Town Planner:

A RTPI Accredited degree in Town Planning, Planning and Development or a closely related discipline
A genuine interest in the UK planning system and the development process
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong research and analytical abilities
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Confidence working independently while also contributing positively to a team
A proactive and professional approach to work
