An established precision engineering company is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Purchasing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing procurement experience who wants to grow within a fast-paced, technical environment.
What you'll be doing
* Raising and managing Purchase Orders through the ERP system
* Sourcing suppliers, evaluating quotes, and negotiating on price, delivery and quality
* Expediting orders and resolving delivery delays with suppliers
* Managing subcontract and special process requirements
* Maintaining supplier records, KPI trackers and Approved Supplier List
* Resolving invoice queries with Finance and Goods In
* Preparing and evaluating tenders
* Reporting on spend and departmental KPIs
What you'll need
* Previous experience in a supply chain, procurement or purchasing role
* Manufacturing/engineering background preferred
* Strong Excel and ERP/MRP system skills
* CIPS Level 3 essential
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
