Workshop Controller

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Workshop Controller in Edmonton. This is a highly respected dealership seeking an experienced professional to lead their workshop team. The successful Workshop Controller will have the opportunity to develop their managerial skills within a stable and professional environment.

Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday working pattern, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Alternate Saturday mornings, 8:30 am to 1 pm

Managing daily workshop operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
Supervising and supporting a team of five technicians
Planning and scheduling workflow to optimise workshop profitability
Maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction
Liaising with service advisors and parts department to ensure smooth operations
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsRequirements of a Workshop Controller:

Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or similar supervisory role within the automotive sector
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Good understanding of automotive repair processes
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
