How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    What you will be doing

    Manage and co-ordinate the design and development of a range of digital and print solutions across our business portfolio in line with commercial objectives. To drive internal and external customer engagement and advocacy, directly related to the development of a people-first culture, customer growth, value, experience and sales revenue. As brand custodian, maintain the Ricoh global brand guidelines values and localise for the UK market.

    Own the design and development of Ricoh content and develop sound UX and UI solutions across our digital portfolio (websites, platforms, digital tools, newsletters, emails campaigns, social media, graphic/illustration, animation, video, and audio content); including initial development, (informed from customer insights and industry trends), creation of user personas, storyboards, wireframes, conceptualisations, user flows and use cases.

    Conceptualise and produce engaging content to increase the interactivity of online experiences for Ricoh customers. Ensure correct formatting and consistent design language for printed assets. Provide specialist input on all creative output, ensuring it is in line with business priorities and strategic objectives. Build inclusivity and accessibility into content output and provide support with accessibility (WCAG) guidelines through content and digital design. Optimise and refine designs based on feedback, data analysis, and A/B testing results to continuously improve campaign and content performance and ensure optimal user experience.

    Work with the Digital team on continuous maintenance and updates to the Company's websites, as well as other digital tools and platforms. Help optimise the Company's SEO rankings globally through content and design and support on metrics gathering and reporting. Optimise Social Media content, both organic and paid, responding to market trends and reviewing competitors to drive brand awareness and lead generation.

    Manage design agencies and external providers to deliver best-in-class content and design assets. This includes full project management, from brief to delivery, including writing detailed briefs; reviewing assets to ensure a high quality of output; managing internal stakeholders' requirements and approvals; ensuring the delivery of content on time and within budget.

    Implement and continuously optimise key processes to ensure transparency and efficiency. Provide communication and content updates with the wider marketing team on weekly stand-up calls to ensure alignment and delivery timescales are met.

    Ensure version control across all digital assets, preparing design files for the centralised system so that final artwork can be utilised across the business and between agencies. Responsibility for upkeep of the central system to ensure creative files are accessible and organised.

    Manage and co-ordinate budgets and cost of agency retainers, projects and suppliers. Continually monitor spend, retainer reports and metrics, aligning tool licences and budgets in accordance with usage to ensure greater efficiency of resources.

    Act as brand custodian - be a point of contact to consult on and approve visual content. Ultimate responsibility for design-related support across all areas of the organisation, (including Internal Communications, Direct and Indirect Sales, RGC, eCommerce, People & ESG) leading and facilitating creative ideas generation. You will ideally have

    Degree calibre or marketing related qualification and relevant business experience
    Graphic design, illustration, fine art or a related subject degree or diploma
    5 years+ experience in graphics/design, preferably with relevant B2B experience
    Champion UX/ User Experience Design, experience in creating lo-fidelity wireframes and user journeys, to hi-fi mockups.
    Excellent knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After effects, XD, Dimension, Acrobat), Ceros, Turtl, Figma
    Skilled in creating gifs, video and audio editing and animation.
    Mac and PC proficient
    Strong presentation skills, experience / familiarity with Ricoh products/services / thought leadership.
    Ability to influence and negotiate; lead and motivate key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
    Exceptional creativity and innovation. Proactive in proposing ideas and improving content.
    Self-motivated: able to work on own initiative, initiate new concepts and question the status quo
    Excellent communication skills - can deliver clearly articulated design rationale and manage both internal stakeholders and external agencies.
    High level of professionalism and aptitude to handle sensitive and confidential content, with high ethics and integrity.
    Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with creative agencies, content agencies, printers, copywriters, other designers, web developers and marketing specialists.
    Excellent attention to detail
    Strong ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced working environment. Flexible and able to work well under pressure.
    Exceptional commercial acumen and problem-solving ability to make decisions that ensure best output of content.
    Ability to adapt and tailor content for Direct and Indirect channels and Internal Communications
