Sales Administrator

Are you an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting a sales team and keeping things running smoothly? We’re working with a growing business in Peterborough that is looking for someone to provide vital administrative support to its Sales function, helping to ensure customer orders, partner enquiries and sales processes are managed efficiently.

This is a great opportunity to join a business operating in the IT and communications sector, where you’ll play an important role in supporting customer relationships, coordinating information across teams and helping deliver an excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, managing enquiries, documentation and follow-up actions.

Processing sales orders, ensuring information is accurate and consistent across internal systems.

Maintaining and updating customer, partner and sales opportunity records within the CRM.

Preparing sales documentation, order forms, quotations and supporting materials.

Tracking sales activity, order progress and outstanding actions, following up on any delays or missing information.

Maintaining sales trackers, reports and dashboards to support pipeline visibility and performance updates.

Assisting with meeting preparation, taking minutes and keeping track of actions.

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in sales administration, customer administration, order processing or a similar coordination role.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.

Confident communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.

Experience using CRM systems, sales databases or internal tracking systems.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.

Experience within technology, wholesale or a B2B sales environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

Benefits Package:

Salary of up to £30k (dependent on experience).

Office-based role in Peterborough.

Working hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm.
