Watch Repair Technician - Bury, Lancashire

£30,000 + Commission + Bonus + Benefits
Full Time | PermanentWe are looking for an experienced Watch Repair Technician to join our busy watch repair team in Bury.

This is a hands-on role for someone who already has practical watch repair experience and is confident carrying out a range of everyday repairs. You will be joining an established team and taking responsibility for providing a fast, professional and reliable service to customers.

As a Watch Repair Technician, you will carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance work, including:

Replacing watch batteries
Fitting and adjusting watch straps and bracelets
Replacing watch glasses
Fitting and replacing watch movements
Carrying out general watch repairs and adjustments
Identifying watches, brands and suitable replacement parts
Providing customers with advice on repairs and servicing
Managing repair jobs efficiently within a busy watch repair unit
Keeping the work area organised, clean and professionalThe role will also involve dealing directly with customers, so excellent customer service skills and a professional manner are essential.

You will already have experience working with watches and be comfortable carrying out common watch repairs without requiring basic training.

The Ideal Watch Repair Technician:

Has previous watch repair experience
Can confidently fit batteries, straps, glasses and movements
Has a good knowledge of watches and recognised watch brands
Is comfortable working in a busy repair environment
Has excellent customer service skills
Is organised and able to manage a busy workload
Is smart, clean and well presented
Is punctual, reliable and hardworking
Works well as part of an existing team
Is numerate and literate
Is keen to develop their skills further within the businessHours:

This is a full-time, permanent position working five days per week.

The role includes Saturday working, with a day off during the week.
