How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Strategic Partnership Manager – Wound Care
    Circa £65,000 + performance-related commission + company car/car allowance
South West / South Central | Field Based
Are you an experienced healthcare sales or business development professional with a strong background in wound care, medical devices, consumables or a closely related healthcare market?
Are you ready for a role where you can take ownership of a territory, build senior NHS relationships and have a genuine impact on commercial growth?
This could be an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.
We are working with an established healthcare organisation that is looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager to develop and grow its presence within the wound care market.
This is not a transactional sales role. You'll be working strategically with NHS organisations, developing relationships with senior clinical and procurement stakeholders and identifying opportunities where the right clinical and commercial solution can deliver genuine value.
    Why consider the role?
You'll have the autonomy to own your territory and shape your approach, from identifying new opportunities through to developing strategic partnerships and growing existing accounts.
You'll work with senior stakeholders across acute and community healthcare, including clinical leaders, procurement teams, ICB stakeholders, medicines management and other key decision-makers.
You'll also have the opportunity to influence how customers adopt products and solutions, supporting formulary and pathway discussions and demonstrating both clinical and economic value.
For someone who understands the wound care market and enjoys combining clinical credibility, consultative selling and commercial strategy, this is a role where you can really make your mark.
    What you'll be responsible for
You'll take ownership of the full business development cycle across your territory, including:
    * Developing strategic territory and account plans
    * Identifying and converting new business opportunities
    * Building strong relationships with senior NHS stakeholders
    * Understanding customer clinical, operational and commercial priorities
    * Developing tailored solutions and value propositions
    * Leading proposals, negotiations and implementation
    * Growing existing accounts and identifying further opportunities
    * Supporting formulary, pathway and product adoption
    * Keeping abreast of NHS priorities, procurement activity and market developments
    * Managing your pipeline, forecasting and CRM effectively
    What we're looking for
Wound care or closely related healthcare experience is important for this position.
You'll ideally bring a background in wound care, medical devices, healthcare consumables or a related clinical market, combined with proven success in healthcare sales, business development or strategic account management.
You'll need to be comfortable selling into the NHS and able to build credibility with clinical, procurement and commercial stakeholders.
We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:
    * A successful track record in healthcare business development, medical sales or strategic account management
    * Experience selling complex clinical or commercial solutions into the NHS
    * A proven ability to win new business and deliver against revenue targets
    * Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
    * Experience managing opportunities from prospecting through to implementation and account growth
    * The ability to engage confidently with senior clinical and procurement stakeholders
    * Knowledge of wound care products, pathways and the challenges facing NHS services
    * Experience supporting formulary, pathway or product adoption would be highly valuable
    * A commercially minded, self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the territory are required
