We are looking for an experienced Senior Industrialisation Engineer to lead the introduction of new products and manufacturing processes into production, supporting the industrialisation of high-reliability, technically complex products on a weekend day shift pattern.
Key Accountabilities
Lead New Product and Process Introduction (NPI) projects from development through to production.
Develop mechanical manufacturing solutions, including assembly processes, tooling and equipment.
Create and manage technical documentation, procedures, tooling drawings and process documentation.
Validate new tooling, equipment and processes to ensure safety, quality and production readiness.
Coordinate cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver NPI milestones.
Drive continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and cost-reduction initiatives.
Identify and resolve technical issues, manufacturing failures and customer product-return investigations.
Manage NPI releases, design reviews, PFMEA, risk assessments and project reporting.
Please note this role is working Weekend Day Shifts, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Total of 33 working hours per week.
About You
Degree-qualified engineer with mid level experience in manufacturing engineering, product industrialisation or a similar environment.
Strong background in mechanical process engineering and NPI.
Good understanding of electromechanical manufacturing and production processes.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and PFMEA.
Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
Experience in a Senior/Lead Engineer or Project Engineering role coupled with leadership experience.
