Opportunity to work closely with managers, trade unions and key stakeholdersResponsibilities
Manage a range of employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters
Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes
Support union engagement activities, consultation processes and industrial relations initiatives
Assist with organisational change projects, including restructures, redeployment and redundancy processes
Analyse ER trends and recommend improvements to reduce risk and strengthen management capability
Support HR administration, recruitment, onboarding and people-related processes to ensure compliance and accuracyExperience/Skills Needed
Previous experience in a HR Advisor or Employee Relations focused role
CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Experience working in and understanding unionised environments
Experience managing complex ER casework in a fast-paced environment
Ability to coach and influence managers at all levels with confidence and credibility
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with experience working to tight deadlinesThis position would suit a proactive HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and managing a varied employee relations workload.
