We are looking for ABA Tutors to join specialist SEN settings across Halifax, supporting pupils who benefit from structured, consistent, and individualised approaches to their education.
The Role… ABA Tutors
Working as an ABA Tutor in Halifax, you will provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils work towards their individual learning, communication, and developmental goals.
You'll use your knowledge of ABA approaches to encourage positive engagement, develop communication and social interaction, and support pupils to become increasingly independent. Working alongside teachers and wider SEN teams, you'll adapt activities to each pupil and provide the consistency they need to make progress.
Your role may include:
* Providing individualised one-to-one and small-group interventions
* Supporting pupils with autism, communication differences, and additional needs
* Using structured approaches and positive reinforcement to encourage progress
* Developing communication, social interaction, and independence
* Helping pupils remain engaged and motivated with their learning
* Supporting individual targets and monitoring pupil development
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other SEN professionals
You'll Be…
* Experienced as an ABA Tutor or have relevant experience using ABA approaches
* Confident supporting children or young people with autism and additional needs
* Patient, consistent, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
* Comfortable adapting your approach around individual communication and learning needs
* Passionate about helping children make meaningful progress
