IT / OT Automation Engineer

Proclinical is seeking an IT-OT Automation Engineer for an onsite role in Milton Keynes. This position focuses on supporting automation systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and a strong understanding of IT and operational technology integration.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain automation systems to ensure seamless operation within the manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT-OT systems.
Implement and optimize automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and compliance.
Ensure all systems adhere to regulatory and quality standards specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Conduct system upgrades, testing, and validation as required.
Provide technical support and training to relevant stakeholders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Practical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential.
Strong knowledge of IT-OT integration and automation systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has relevant experience.
