The Role of Area Sales Manager
* This is a field/home-based role, responsible for developing a defined territory across the East of England.
* You will represent an established range of specialist manufactured construction products and solutions within a project-led B2B environment.
* The role is a mixture of account management, relationship development and new business generation.
* You will identify and develop new commercial opportunities, often engaging with customers and stakeholders at an early stage of a project with housebuilders & local authorities
* You will build and maintain relationships with a range of organisations and decision-makers across the region.
* You will be responsible for developing existing accounts while proactively identifying new opportunities.
* You will manage opportunities through the sales process, from initial contact through to successful completion.
* You will be supported by an experienced sales management team who will provide product training, guidance and ongoing development.
* You will use your relationship-building, commercial and organisational skills to develop the territory and grow revenue.

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager Role
* Previous face-to-face sales, field sales / external sales experience.
* Experience of account management and/or business development.
* Confident building relationships and engaging with customers at different levels.
* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
* Excellent attitude, team player, motivated and driven.
* Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
* Comfortable managing a territory and working independently.
* Industry experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
The Package on Offer for the Area Sales Manager
* Up to £45,000 basic salary
* £12,000 – £20,000 OTE
