How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Do you enjoy a busy and varied workday? We are working with our client to assist them in finding a highly organised Business Support Coordinator to provide administrative support across Operations, QHSE and Business Development.
     
    Starting Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
    Contract: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent
    Location: Diss, Norfolk
    Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30-5.00 with 1hr lunch (37.5hrs)
     
    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide day-to-day administrative support across multiple departments.
    Process operational documentation, timesheets and job files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    Prepare draft sales invoices and support monthly reporting and close-out activities.
    Maintain records, spreadsheets, certifications and compliance documentation.
    Support health, safety, quality and environmental (QHSE) reporting and audits.
    Assist with supplier due diligence, client registrations and document control processes.
    Coordinate training records, PPE requirements and personnel documentation.
    Produce reports, presentations, proposals and tender documentation.
    Organise travel, accommodation and visa arrangements as required.
    Handle incoming calls, correspondence and general office administration.
    Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.  
    What We're Looking For:

    Strong administrative and organisational skills.
    Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
    Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
    Experience in compliance, operational support, project coordination or business administration would be advantageous.
