Nursery Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a busy nursery in Stratford. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a confident Early Years professional who can effectively manage a team, oversee nursery operations and maintain high standards of care and education.

The role offers a £36,000–£40,000 salary, Monday–Friday working hours and rotating shifts of 8am–5pm / 9am–6pm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursery leader looking to take ownership of a setting and make a meaningful contribution to children's development and the wider team.

You will be:

Overseeing the effective day-to-day management and operation of the nursery

Leading, supporting and delegating responsibilities across the nursery team

Ensuring high standards of care, learning and practice are consistently maintained

*

Managing nursery administration, paperwork and relevant records

*

Monitoring and tracking children's progress and development

*

Supporting staff performance, teamwork and professional development

*

Ensuring the nursery operates in line with the EYFS, safeguarding and relevant policies and procedures

*

Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

*

Managing competing priorities effectively within a busy Early Years environment

*

Contributing to the continued improvement and success of the nursery

The successful candidate will hold a relevant Early Years qualification, such as an Early Years degree, EYP, NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. You will have at least 3 years' post-qualification experience and 2 years' relevant supervisory experience, alongside a strong understanding of Early Years practice and nursery operations.

We are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and confident managing a busy setting, with the ability to multitask whilst maintaining high standards. A genuine passion for Early Years and children's development is essential.
