How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Opportunity
Are you a proactive B2B sales professional who enjoys opening doors, winning new customers and building something from the ground up?
Our client is an established and growing business specialising in vehicle safety, fleet technology and electronic solutions for commercial vehicles. Their products are used by businesses operating commercial vehicle fleets, helping customers improve vehicle safety, efficiency and operational visibility.
With a strong reputation in their market and an established customer base, they are now looking to grow further and are seeking a Business Development Manager to take ownership of developing new business and creating new revenue streams.
This is a role for someone who enjoys picking up the phone, finding opportunities, getting in front of customers and turning prospects into long-term accounts. You'll have the opportunity to develop your own portfolio of customers while also working alongside an established sales team and supporting existing key accounts.
    About the Role
The primary focus of the role will be new business development. You'll be expected to identify potential customers, develop relationships, generate opportunities and ultimately convert those opportunities into revenue.
You'll work closely with the existing sales and marketing teams, using a combination of your own business development activity and marketing-generated leads to grow the customer base.
Once relationships are established, you'll also take responsibility for developing key accounts and maximising further opportunities.
    Key Duties & Responsibilities
    * Developing a portfolio of new customers.
    * Tracking sales leads and reporting results as necessary.
    * Providing the Executive Directors with a quarterly update.
    * Working collaboratively alongside the existing sales team.
    * Coordinating with marketing on lead production.
    * Developing monthly revenue streams.
    * Promoting the organisation and its products.
    * Liaising with purchasing in relation to stock.
    * Responding to sales email and phone enquiries.
    * Building strong, long-term relationships with customers.
    * Liaising with customers to provide updates on delays, shortages and delivery dates.
    * Management of key accounts.
    * Arranging and attending regular progress meetings with key accounts.
    * Providing quotes for new opportunities.
    * Completing all relevant paperwork relating to the portfolio of accounts.
    * Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
    * Assisting with the implementation of a sales training process, with a view to expanding the team for future growth.
    * Any other duties as reasonably required by the Company.
    About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, confident and hungry to win new business.
You'll ideally have experience in B2B sales, business development or account management and be comfortable identifying prospects, making initial contact and developing relationships through to a successful sale.
Experience within the automotive, commercial vehicle, fleet, transport, telematics, vehicle technology or a related technical environment would be particularly advantageous.
    We're looking for someone who:
    * Enjoys new business development and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.
    * Is confident prospecting and generating their own leads.
    * Can build relationships with customers at different levels.
    * Is commercially aware and motivated by generating revenue.
    * Has a track record of developing new accounts.
    * Is confident presenting products and solutions to customers.
    * Can manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to order.
    * Is organised and able to manage multiple opportunities and accounts.
    * Can work independently while contributing positively to an established sales team.
    * Is comfortable working with CRM and sales/order management systems.
    * Has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    * Is looking for a long-term opportunity where they can genuinely contribute to business growth
