The Opportunity
As a Lead Engineer, you'll be the senior technical voice across one or two delivery teams. Remaining hands-on, you'll build solutions, mentor engineers and champion engineering excellence throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Working closely with Product Managers, Architects and stakeholders, you'll translate complex challenges into scalable solutions while ensuring quality, maintainability and predictable delivery remain at the heart of everything you do.
You'll also help shape engineering standards, best practice and the future direction of the wider technology function.
What my client wants:
You'll have experience delivering production-grade software, ideally using C# .NET, and be comfortable making technical decisions across architecture, delivery and engineering quality. You think in systems, understand engineering fundamentals and know what's happening under the hood when using modern AI-enabled tooling.

Having successfully rolled out Claude across the business, my client is now investing in the engineering capability behind it, building the platforms, services and integrations needed to make AI a core organisational capability.
The right candidate will have experience with:
* Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
* Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot and similar tools
* AI-enabled products, services or integrations
* Modern software delivery and emerging AI engineering practices
