Nicholas Scott is instructed by a leading international law firm to recruit a lawyer for its cargo, marine and transport disputes team.
There is no upper limit on qualification level. We welcome interest from experienced associates, senior associates, counsel and barristers. Lawyers currently working within P&I clubs, and those qualified in other jurisdictions with relevant experience, are also encouraged to get in touch.
The practice advises on cargo loss and damage, marine recoveries, transport liability, casualty matters, salvage and general average, alongside freight, demurrage and hire disputes.
You do not need experience across every aspect of the practice. Strong candidates may come from shipping, marine insurance, P&I, international trade or transport litigation. What matters is sound contentious experience, commercial judgment and an interest in developing within a substantial international marine practice.
The role is based in London.
