Data Scientist

Data plays a critical role in accelerating product development, improving decision-making and unlocking deeper insight into complex experimental programmes. As the Data Scientist, you will help build the data foundations that support the development of next-generation energy storage technologies, transforming raw experimental data into meaningful insights, visualisations and scalable analytical workflows.
 
The Data Scientist will:

Develop tools and workflows to automate the extraction, processing and analysis of experimental data.
Build and maintain data pipelines, databases and analytical frameworks.
Generate meaningful features, visualisations and reports from complex datasets.
Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to support product development decisions.
Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Develop scripts, tools and automation solutions to improve business efficiency.
Identify opportunities to enhance existing data methodologies and accelerate development cycles.  
The Data Scientist will have:

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences or a related quantitative discipline.
Strong programming skills for data analysis and workflow development, ideally including Python.
Experience building data pipelines and working with complex datasets.
Strong data visualisation and communication skills.
Experience applying statistical methods and/or machine learning techniques.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
