We're working with a high-profile, fast-paced UK business seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its Supply Chain & Logistics Finance team.
This is more than a month-end role. You'll work closely with operational teams and 3PL providers, using financial insight to understand cost drivers, challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
It's a large, complex operation with genuine long-term career opportunities for someone who wants to develop and make an impact.
The role

Prepare management accounts, forecasts, budgets and insightful variance analysis
Build strong relationships across Supply Chain, Logistics and Head Office
Partner with operational teams and multiple 3PLs to understand performance and cost drivers
Identify efficiencies, savings and process improvements
Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
Analyse large volumes of data and turn it into clear, actionable insight
Support inter-departmental transfers, projects and wider Finance initiativesWhat you'll bring

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
Strong management accounting and commercial experience
Supply Chain / Logistics experience advantageous, not essential
Commercially curious with the confidence to challenge and ask why?
Strong communication skills and able to explain Finance to non-finance teams
Process improvement mindset and high level of accountability
Advanced Excel and confident working with large data setsWhat's on offer?
