Jakaj Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative / Handyman to join our property maintenance team, working across London and surrounding areas.
The role of Multi-skilled Maintenance Operative/ Handyman involves carrying out a wide range of repairs and maintenance works in residential properties. We are looking for someone who can work independently, complete jobs to a good standard and is confident across several trades.
Duties will include:
* General property repairs and maintenance
* Painting and decorating
* Basic carpentry and joinery
* Minor plumbing repairs
* Kitchen and bathroom repairs/installations
* Laminate and other flooring installation
* Patch plastering and making good
* Silicone/sealant work
* Door, lock, handle and ironmongery repairs/replacement
* Basic tiling
* Void property works and general refurbishment
* Identifying faults and reporting any additional works required
* Keeping work areas clean and tidy
Requirements for Multi-skilled Maintenance Operative/ Handyman
* Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar multi-trade role
* Good knowledge of several building trades
* Able to work independently and manage daily jobs
* Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual
* Good communication skills
* Full UK driving licence required
* Right to work in the UK
