Senior Contracts Manager - Water

Our client is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of a major AMP8 water programme across the United Utilities region. This permanent role will oversee complex water and wastewater projects, from design and construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the safe, high-quality delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects across the AMP8 programme
Manage programme performance across cost, schedule, margin, cash flow and commercial objectives
Ensure projects meet regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with United Utilities, design organisations and other stakeholders
Drive programme growth and support the development of future framework opportunities
Lead, support and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary delivery team
Manage key supply chain partners and promote effective contractual and commercial performance
Champion innovation, modern methods of construction, sustainable solutions and improved delivery processes

Job Requirements:

Significant experience working for a contractor on a mix of water and wastewater projects
Strong programme or major project leadership experience within the water infrastructure sector
Excellent commercial, contractual and risk management capabilities
Experience managing client relationships and engaging effectively with design organisations and supply chain partners
Broad understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines
Knowledge of advanced treatment processes
Relevant project management accreditation
