We are looking for an experienced Social Workers (Senior Social Worker) to join Family Help teams across six localities in Gloucesteshire.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious Local Authority where you can make a real difference to children, young people and families, while developing your career within a supportive social work environment.

The role

You’ll work directly with children, young people and families to provide effective support and protection, building positive relationships and working closely with colleagues and partner agencies and you will have the opportunity to:

* Manage a varied frontline social work caseload

* Build meaningful relationships with children and families

* Deliver effective assessments, planning and interventions

* Work alongside partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes

* Support children and young people who need help or protection

* Contribute to a strong Family Help approach

You will need

* Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration

* Completed ASYE with a minimum 2 years' UK statutory social work experience

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive across the county

Applications are welcomed from UK-Based Skilled Social Workers who are already living and working in the UK who are registered with SWE, who have at least 2 years' UK statutory experience and can move their Certificate of Sponsorship and relocate to Gloucestershire.
