Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Floorlayer to join their team, covering properties across Dudley, Sandwell and Wolverhampton.

You will be responsible for installing and repairing a range of resilient floor coverings within residential properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare subfloors, including cleaning, smoothing, levelling and minor repairs.

Install flat lay vinyl flooring in kitchens, bathrooms, communal areas and other residential spaces.

Fit cap and cove flooring systems, including forming coves and welding joints.

Carry out hot and cold welding of vinyl flooring where required.

Measure, cut and fit flooring materials accurately.

Ensure all work meets the required quality and safety standards.

Work respectfully within occupied properties, keeping work areas clean and tidy.

Complete job sheets, paperwork and relevant documentation.

Liaise professionally with residents, supervisors and other members of the team.

About You

Proven experience as a Floorlayer.

Experience installing flat lay vinyl and cap and cove flooring.

Experience preparing subfloors and using smoothing compounds.

Competent with hot and cold welding techniques.

Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

Full UK driving licence.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.

Good communication and customer service skills.
