Handyman/Handywoman Required 

Location: Dorking, Surrey

Rate: £18–£19 per hour

Skilled Careers are currently looking for a Handyman / Finishing Operative to work on a construction site in Dorking.

The role will mainly involve small cosmetic repairs and finishing work to PVC window frames and kitchen cupboards.

Duties

Repairing small scratches and marks to PVC around windows

Lightly sanding scratches before repainting

Spraying and repainting repaired areas

Carrying out small cosmetic repairs to kitchen cupboard units

Colour matching paint to existing kitchen cupboard finishes

Mixing colours where required to achieve the correct match

Ensuring repairs blend into the existing finish

General snagging and finishing duties around site

Requirements

Previous experience with painting, spraying or finishing work

Experience repairing and repainting PVC or similar surfaces is preferred

Good eye for detail and ability to achieve a neat finish

Must be confident colour matching and mixing paint

Able to carry out small, precise repairs

Own tools (essential)

CSCS card (essential)

Full PPE
