Catering Assistant Opportunity – Sutton
Education First is looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Catering Assistant to join a secondary school in Sutton.
This is a part-time opportunity working 15 hours per week, supporting the school's catering team and helping to provide a welcoming and efficient food service for pupils and staff.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and serving of food, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and help ensure the dining areas and kitchen operate effectively.
The Role
As a Catering Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and drinks
*
Serving pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner
*
Setting up and clearing dining areas
*
Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
*
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
*
Following food safety and health and safety procedures
*
Supporting stock rotation and storage
*
Assisting with deliveries and putting away supplies
*
Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods
*
Helping maintain a safe and welcoming dining environment
