How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Administrator (Training into Utilities and Energy)

    Hybrid Role - Perth, Scotland (Commutable from: Dundee, Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Crieff)

    £28,000 - £34,000 + Bonus + Hybrid Working + Full Training + Development + Long-Term Stability

    Are you an Administrator looking for a stable, long-term role where you will be properly trained into Utility Data and Invoice Analysis, trusted to run with your own work in a growing energy and sustainability business?

    On offer is a permanent position with a well-established consultancy, where you will receive a structured 8-week training plan and become a key part of a small, high-retention team supporting commercial clients.

    This company are specialists in utility procurement, contract management and account administration, supporting organisations with cost reduction and Net-Zero / compliance goals. Due to continued steady growth and a drive to bring their data into one place, they are now looking to add to their team.

    In this role you will validate supplier invoices, investigate and resolve errors, communicate with clients, and support internal data initiatives as they improve reporting and data warehousing. The role is based in Perth with 3 days per week in the office.

    This role would suit someone with invoice validation experience and strong analytical skills, looking for a secure role with training, autonomy and long-term progression as the business develops.

    The Role:

    Validating supplier invoices and investigating discrepancies
    Liaising with clients to resolve invoice errors and queries
    Supporting internal data initiatives and data warehousing projects
    Perth based role with 3 days per week in the office
    Monday to Friday, roughly 8am-4pm (with some flexibility)
    The Person:

    Experience in invoice validation / invoice checking / accounts administration
    Strong Microsoft Office skills with good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
    Energy sector experience beneficial but not essential
