Our client delivers mechanical and electrical building services across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare and education projects, and is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team.
The Role
* Producing mechanical designs and drawings for M&E projects
* Working across a range of sectors and project types
* Producing calculations, schematics and specifications
* Liaising with the wider design and project delivery teams
* Ensuring designs meet current regulations and client requirements
* Supporting projects from concept through to installation stage
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within M&E/building services
* Proficient in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, CAD-Duct or similar)
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and current regulations
* Relevant qualification (HNC/HND or degree in Building Services or similar)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
