Contracts Manager / Project Manager / Experienced Site Manager looking to step up
We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join an established construction business based in Brierley Hill.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven construction professional looking to take the next step in their career. The role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or an established Site Manager who is ready to make the move into a Contracts Management position.
You will oversee two live projects, working across a mixture of residential and commercial construction, with responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to a high standard and within budget.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will have responsibility for overseeing two projects and coordinating the delivery teams to ensure successful project completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the successful delivery of two construction projects.
* Managing Site Managers, subcontractors and wider project teams.
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
* Monitoring progress and programme performance.
* Working closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
* Managing project resources and coordinating site activities.
* Identifying and resolving project issues and risks.
* Attending meetings and providing regular project updates.
* Ensuring projects remain commercially controlled.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
* Supporting the wider management team across the business.
About You

You should have:
* Strong experience within the construction industry.
* Experience delivering either residential, commercial or mixed-use projects.
* A strong understanding of construction programmes, quality, health & safety and project delivery.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
* A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.
* The ambition and drive to progress within a growing construction business.
Location
Brierley Hill
Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to attend the office regularly, candidates should ideally be based within approximately a 30-minute commute of Brierley Hill.
