We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a prestigious site in Mayfair, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking for a stable days-only shift pattern, strong earning potential and genuine opportunities for training and career progression.
The Role
As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the site's mechanical services and equipment.
You will work as part of a professional engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance while maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
*
Maintain mechanical plant, equipment and building services systems.
*
Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation.
*
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and minimise equipment downtime.
*
Work closely with the wider engineering and facilities team.
*
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant health & safety procedures.
*
Maintain high standards of service within a prestigious commercial environment.

About You
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, ideally within a commercial building, facilities management or critical environment.
You should be confident working independently, troubleshooting mechanical systems and carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
Relevant mechanical qualifications and experience within building services/facilities maintenance would be highly desirable.
