Deputy Manager

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join a specialist care provider in Leicester, supporting adults with complex needs. This full-time role offers a salary of £42,000, excellent development opportunities and the chance to play a key part in the ongoing development of the service.

The service supports individuals with a range of complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours of distress. You'll work alongside an experienced Registered Manager and wider senior leadership team to drive quality, develop staff and ensure truly person-centred support.

Ongoing training and career progression opportunitiesAs Deputy Manager, you'll be a visible leader within the service, supporting and developing a large staff team while maintaining high standards of care.

Duties will include:
Leading, motivating and developing the staff team
Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
Championing Positive Behaviour Support and least restrictive practice
Coaching and mentoring staff to improve performance and confidence
Driving quality improvement and maintaining high standards of care
Supporting safeguarding, governance and service development
Promoting a positive, person-centred culture across the service
Working closely with senior leaders to identify and implement improvements
Ensuring individuals are supported to achieve positive outcomes and greater independenceThe ideal Deputy Manager will have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex behaviours. You'll be confident leading teams, comfortable working within a complex service and passionate about developing both staff and the quality of support provided.
