Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm or 9:30am to 6:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Timber Machinist to join our timber mill team. This is a skilled role producing accurately machined timber for our garden-building production departments while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate timber mill moulders.
Select, fit and adjust tooling safely and accurately.
Machine timber to the required measurements and profiles.
Complete machine adjustments, product changeovers and routine checks.
Inspect finished timber for quality and accuracy.
Identify defects and resolve machining issues.
Follow production plans and meet agreed output requirements.
Keep the timber mill clean, organised and safe.
What We Are Looking For

Previous experience as a Timber Machinist or Wood Machinist.
Confidence setting and operating timber mill moulders.
Good knowledge of timber, tooling and machining processes.
Ability to work accurately from measurements and specifications.
Strong awareness of machine safety.
A reliable, practical and quality-focused approach.
Forklift truck or side-loader experience would be useful but is not essential.
