Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your education career? Aspire People are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Hinckley.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident supporting classroom learning, leading activities and helping pupils achieve their potential. You will work closely with teaching staff while taking responsibility for delivering engaging learning opportunities and providing additional support where needed.
The Role
Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
Lead small-group activities, interventions and learning sessions
Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of abilities and needs
Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of classroom resources
Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and participation
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
Provide classroom cover when required, depending on your experience and school expectations
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school
Experience supporting children across primary education
Confidence leading learning activities and managing groups of pupils
Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
A proactive and adaptable approach
An HLTA qualification or relevant equivalent experience would be advantageous
A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
