A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading M&E contractor at the forefront of its sector. This role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor with extensive knowledge in the M&E sector, a Senior who wants to take ownership of the commercial team. This role comes with excellent benefits and the chance to work on major projects in the heart of London with clear progression routes into a Head of Commercial.  

Our client is a well established M&E contractor who work in a variety of sectors, from MODs, commercial, residential and most recently data centres. They support building projects through all RIBA stages and have a strong design team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include:

* Manage budgets, forecasts and cost reporting for mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring project profitability.
* Oversee subcontractor procurement, tender comparisons and commercial negotiations.
* Prepare and negotiate payment applications, variations and final accounts.
* Manage contractual risks and work closely with project teams to control costs and deliver within budget.  

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:  

* Extensive knowledge in the Mechanical and electrical sector (Essential).
* BSC (Hons) Quantity Surveying.
* Negotiation and analytical skills and experience.
* RICS/MRICS accreditation (Desirable).
