Academics are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable A Level Economics Tutor to provide weekly online tutoring support to a students studying A Level Economics with the AQA exam board.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Economics teacher, tutor or subject specialist looking to take on a flexible online tutoring role alongside existing commitments.
The successful A Level Economics Tutor will provide approximately one hour of online tuition each week, with some flexibility around timings. Sessions may be arranged before school or after school, depending on the tutor's availability.
The role will focus on supporting the student to develop their understanding of the AQA A Level Economics specification, build confidence and strengthen their exam technique.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and supportive one-to-one online A Level Economics tuition.
Provide approximately one hour of tutoring each week.
Support the student across the AQA A Level Economics specification.
Develop understanding of key economic concepts and theories.
Support with exam technique, essay structure and application of economic knowledge.
Identify areas for development and tailor sessions to the student's individual needs.
Help build confidence ahead of A Level Economics examinations.The ideal A Level Economics Tutor will have:
Experience teaching or tutoring A Level Economics.
Strong knowledge of the AQA Economics specification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to explain complex economic concepts clearly and effectively.
A patient, encouraging and student-focused approach.
Experience supporting students with A Level exam preparation.This is a flexible online tutoring opportunity, making it particularly suitable for an experienced teacher or tutor looking to provide additional tuition outside normal school hours.
