Cover Teacher

COVER TEACHER

Location: Strood, Medway
Work: Flexible / As Required
Setting: Primary School - KS1 & KS2

We are looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Teacher to support a primary school in Strood on an as-and-when-needed basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and can confidently step into a classroom, deliver lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working within a primary school setting

QTS or relevant teaching qualifications

Confidence working across KS1 and KS2

A strong understanding of the primary school curriculum

The ability to follow lesson plans and deliver engaging learning

Excellent classroom management skills

A confident, flexible and adaptable approach

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Driving is preferred

Safeguarding Requirements:

A valid enhanced DBS is required

Candidates must either have a suitable DBS already in place or be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS

References and safeguarding checks will be completed as part of the recruitment process
