About the Role
Supply Desk are looking for a passionate, caring, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team in the Watford area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is committed to creating a positive learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education while supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5.
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Encourage and support children’s individual learning, development, and wellbeing.
Develop positive and professional relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
Monitor, observe, assess, and accurately record children’s progress and development.
Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures and ensure children’s welfare remains a priority.
Support the smooth running of daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and personal care.
Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (Or equivalent)
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting (Desirable)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
