How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Programme & Events Manager
    Location: London / Hybrid
    Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
    Hours: Full-time

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme & Events Manager to join a well-established organisation.

    This varied role combines programme and event management, partnership development and stakeholder engagement, with responsibility for delivering high-quality programmes and events from planning through to completion.

    Key Responsibilities
    Plan, organise and deliver a range of programmes and events, including conferences, workshops, roundtables, webinars and training.
    Manage projects, budgets, timelines and logistics to ensure successful delivery.
    Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, partners and stakeholders.
    Support event logistics including venues, catering, AV and on-site delivery.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
    Manage partner commitments and act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.
    Maintain accurate programme and partnership records and provide regular reports and updates. About You
    You will have experience in programme, project, event or partnership management, with excellent organisational and communication skills.

    We are looking for someone who is:

    Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
    Confident managing multiple projects and priorities.
    A strong communicator and natural relationship builder.
    Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
    Comfortable working with external partners, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
    Experienced in Microsoft Office; knowledge of event management or CRM systems would be advantageous.
    Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied role with responsibility for programmes, events and partnerships within an established organisation.
