Randstad is recruiting a Fire Risk Assessor on behalf of a premier, BAFE SP205-accredited fire safety consultancy. Partnered with an AI-native compliance platform, the business equips field teams with tablet software that automates back-office report drafting, floorplan pin-drops, and site data compiling in real time-reducing administrative reporting load by 50% and eliminating post-site evening paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive life safety Fire Risk Assessments across commercial, healthcare (NHS), higher education, and public sector estates in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Systematically identify fire hazards, evaluate passive and active fire precautions, and formulate clear, proportionate action plans for Responsible Persons
Capture site inspection data, photos, and digital floorplan markups using mobile tablet software
Advise duty holders on fire safety policies, evacuation arrangements, and risk reduction measures
Maintain a 100% focus on technical risk assessment, auditing, and compliance advisory (strictly no installation or trade fitting work)Candidate Advantages

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Fire Risk Assessment experience.
Recognized qualifications/registrations preferred (IFSM Tier 2/3, Level 4 FRA Diploma, IFE registration, or NEBOSH Fire).
