We are seeking professional and dependable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers interested in joining our specialist transport operation on a casual basis near Reading, UK.
This is a role for drivers who take pride in their professionalism and are looking for more than routine trunking work - including specialist cargo and high quality, single drops across the UK and Europe.

Salary & Progression
- Starting from £15.98 per hour
- Scheduled and unscheduled overtime available

What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out deliveries throughout the UK safely, professionally and in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Maintain high standards of safety, security, reliability and attention to detail at all times.
- Complete vehicle checks, relevant documentation and ensure ongoing legal compliance.
- Work to planned schedules while adapting to changing operational requirements when needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent CTS professionally at customer sites.

Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Capable of carrying out the physical duties associated with loading, unloading and securing loads.
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to travel reliably to Silchester, Reading UK.
- Flexible approach to working hours, overnight stays and weekend working
Desirable Skills & Experience
- ADR qualification (Classes 1-9)
- Experience transporting specialist, high-value or regulated goods
- Forklift experience
Security Clearance Requirements
Due to the nature of our work, all offers of employment are subject to successful security screening and the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearances, including BPSS and Security Check (SC) & Developed Vetting (DV) clearance (where applicable).
Applicants must:
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be able to provide evidence of UK residency/history required for clearance purposes
- Meet the eligibility requirements for UK Government security vetting
