Product Data Scientist

The Company
This organisation provides a digital learning platform used by a large and established customer base. They are experiencing strong growth and are investing in their data capabilities to better understand customer behaviour and optimise product performance. You will join a collaborative team with direct exposure to senior leadership.
The Role
You will use data to understand how customers interact with the platform and identify opportunities to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Responsibilities include:
- Building predictive models such as churn, engagement, and customer lifetime value
- Analysing customer journeys, product usage, and conversion funnels
- Creating customer segments and behavioural insights
- Conducting exploratory analysis to uncover growth opportunities
- Developing dashboards and KPI reporting for stakeholders
- Translating business questions into data-driven solutions
- Working with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Python, and Power BI
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, or Advanced Analytics
- Advanced SQL and Python or R
- Experience building predictive and statistical models
- Strong understanding of customer journey, retention, and funnel analysis
- Experience with Snowflake and dbt
- Power BI or similar BI tools
- Experience within SaaS, subscription, or technology-led businesses
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
