Support Worker

Support Worker – Day Centre
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:50 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Support Worker with an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) to join a day centre in Stoke.
Key Responsibilities:
Support individuals to participate and fully engage in indoor and outdoor activities.
Support service users on days out and activities within the local community.
Provide personal care where required.
Assist with food and support service users with eating.
Support individuals with specialist requirements, including PEG feeding where required.
Use mobility aids and equipment to safely support, lift and move service users.
Carry out duties delegated by the Manager or Team Leader within your skills and competence.
Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – essential.
Previous experience in a care or support work setting.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Caring, patient and reliable approach.
