Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant

Location: Croydon

Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply

Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day

Job Overview:

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Croydon. The successful candidates will support children within EYFS, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally while creating a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Assist with classroom activities and learning through play.
* Support children's communication, language and social development.
* Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
* Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
* Support children with additional learning needs where required.
* Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Follow safeguarding and school policies.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children within an early years or primary school setting.
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.
* Good understanding of EYFS development and learning.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patient, caring and supportive approach.
* SEN experience would be desirable but is not essential.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
