Senior Planner

Role: Senior Planner (Build)

Location: London

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join the planning team of a leading Tier 1 main contractor in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction projects, working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project programmes.

Monitor progress against programme and key milestones.

Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities, and support mitigation strategies.

Provide clear programme updates and reports to project teams and stakeholders.

Work closely with commercial, design, procurement and construction teams.

Support project delivery, forecasting and recovery planning.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes.

About You

We are looking for a Senior Planner with

Proven experience working for a main contractor – Tier 1 experience is highly desirable.

Strong construction planning and programme management experience.

A good understanding of construction methodology and project delivery.

Experience using planning software such as P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.

Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Must have worked on newbuild or refurb projects

Knowledge of JCT, NEC, FIDIC is highly deseriable.
