How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Administrator £35,000 - £40,000

    The Senior Administrator Role

    An established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their London office.

    The successful Senior Administrator will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the London team and wider business. This is a varied position suited to an organised and proactive Senior Administrator who enjoys working within a busy professional consultancy environment.

    The Senior Administrator will prepare and coordinate documents, specifications and reports using Microsoft Office, ensuring company templates, branding and client requirements are followed.

    Alongside general administration, the Senior Administrator will arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and manage calendars and meeting rooms. The role will also involve maintaining accurate project and business records, processing invoices and purchase orders, assisting with timesheets and expenses, and updating internal databases.

    The Senior Administrator will support client relationship and marketing activities through CRM updates, contact lists, events and project information. They will also assist with document control using BIM360 and develop an understanding of the consultancy's practice management and financial systems.

    The successful Senior Administrator will have:

    Previous administration experience, ideally within construction, property, architecture, engineering or a professional consultancy

    Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook

    Excellent organisation, communication and time-management skills

    High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing workloads

    Experience arranging meetings, preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records

    Knowledge of construction industry terminology would be advantageous

    GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above

    An administration, business support or construction-related qualification such as an NVQ, BTEC or equivalent would be advantageous

    Experience with BIM360, CRM or document management systems would be beneficial
