Position: Welder / Pipefitter

Welder / Pipefitter is required in Ledbury for our client, a well-established engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and pipefitting work as part of a range of engineering and fabrication projects, using MIG and TIG welding techniques to produce high-quality work to the required specifications.

Welder / Pipefitter Job Overview

Carry out MIG and TIG welding on a range of engineering and fabrication projects
Undertake pipefitting and associated fabrication work
Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications
Prepare, fit and weld components and pipework to the required standards
Ensure completed work meets the required quality and specification
Work safely and maintain a clean and organised working environment
Work as part of an engineering team to complete projects to the required timescales

Welder / Pipefitter Job Requirements

Previous experience as a Welder / Pipefitter or in a similar engineering role
Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
Experience with pipefitting and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant welding / fabrication qualifications would be advantageous

Welder / Pipefitter Salary & Benefits

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience £28,800-£43,200
