TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Further Education College based in Neath Port Talbot, who are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant. The college provides a busy and welcoming environment, with its refectory serving students and staff throughout the working week.
The college is looking to take on an experienced Catering Assistant for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start. The successful Catering Assistant will support the day-to-day running of the refectory, assisting with food service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and working efficiently during busy service periods.
The successful Catering Assistant will have:
Experience working within a fast-paced refectory or catering environment
Experience providing food service in a busy setting
An understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards
The ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A reliable and flexible approach to work
