We’re recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join a specialist complex care service in Winsford, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, mental health needs and complex behaviours.
This is a great opportunity for a confident Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse or Clinical Lead who enjoys combining hands-on clinical care with leadership, staff development and improving standards across a service.

Ongoing clinical and leadership developmentThe Role
As Clinical Lead Nurse, you’ll take responsibility for maintaining high clinical standards across the service while supporting and developing the wider nursing and care team.You will:
Provide clinical leadership to Nurses and Support Workers
Oversee care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation
Support adults with complex nursing, neurological and mental health needs
Lead on medication management and safe clinical practice
Support the management of complex behaviours and clinical risk
Complete clinical supervision and competency assessments
Coach and develop Nurses and care staff
Lead on safeguarding, clinical governance and quality improvement
Support the service in maintaining strong CQC standardsAbout You
To be considered for this Clinical Lead Nurse position, you’ll need:
Active NMC registration as an RGN, RMN or RNLD
Strong post-registration nursing experience
Experience within complex care, neurological care, mental health, learning disabilities or acquired brain injury
Previous experience supporting people with complex behaviours and higher clinical needs
Confidence leading and supporting Nurses and wider care teams
A good understanding of clinical governance and CQC standardsYou may already be working as a Clinical Lead Nurse, Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse, Charge Nurse, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager, or be an experienced Nurse ready to take the next step into clinical leadership.
